Meade with a height of 5 feet 3 inches (1.6 m) attended New London High School. She then went to Ashland University and Malone College. There, she graduated with a major in programming and performance at the age of 22.

Robin began her broadcasting career as a reporter at WMFD-TV. Moreover, she was an anchor and reporter at WCMH-TV in Columbus, Ohio, and at WJW-TV in Cleveland. She worked as a morning news anchor of WSVN-TV’s Today in Florida and also served as an anchor and health reporter of the network.
