Born as Nicholas Phillip Margevicius on 18 June 1996, he is 24 years of age. He is the son of parents Mark Margevicius and Marigene Margevicius.

Nicholas has an elder sister named Chrissy Margevicius. Chrissy is an education associate at Talespinner Children’s Theatre, a performing arts theater in Cleveland, Ohio.

High School & College

Nick Margevicius attended Saint Ignatius High School at hometown. His combined record for the final three high school seasons was 41-8.

After graduation, he went to Rider University and played college baseball for three seasons. Meanwhile, he also played collegiate summer baseball with the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod Baseball League.

His MLB Career: San Diego Padres, Seattle Mariners

Nick was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 7th round 198th overall in the 2017 MLB draft. Moreover, he played for the Arizona League Padres and the Tri-City Dust Devils in the 2017 season.

In the 2018 season, he played for the minor league teams Fort Wayne TinCaps and the Lake Elsinore Storm.

On 30 March 2019, Margevicius made his MLB debut for the Padres against San Francisco Giants.  After being DFA’d by the Padres, he moved to another MLB side, the Seattle Mariners, on 24 January 2020.

Nick ended the 2020 season with a 2-3 record and a 4.57 ERA. However, he was kept on the 60-day injured list on 13 May 2021 after being diagnosed with thoracic outlet syndrome.

Margevicius earns the basic salary of $586,900 at the Mariners.
