Well, Ashton Hagans NBA stint did not last a long as the Minnesota Timberwolves waived him for violating NBA G League COVID protocols at the beginning of 2021. He is now looking for a new team so far.
Ashton Hagans is an American basketball player who most recently played for the NBA team Minnesota Timberwolves. He was on a two-way contract with the Iowa Wolves of the NBA G League.
What Happened To Ashton Hagans?
On February 13, 2021, the Minnesota Timberwolves announced that Ashton had been waived for violating NBA G League COVID protocols.
He was suspended for violating health and safety protocols inside the NBA G League bubble on 10 February 2021. Moreover, he was fined $10,000 for the violation.
Hagans is now looking for a new team to continue his professional career.

Ashton Dewayne Hagans of age 21 was born on 8 July 1999. He spent his early life with his family in Cartersville, Georgia.
Hagans is the son of parents Marvin Hagans and Monica Wheeler. He is one of the five children in the family and has four siblings. It includes two sisters India and Imani and two brothers named Byron and Amoir Hagans.
The 6-foot-3-inch attended Newton High School in Covington, Georgia. There, he played basketball, averaging 20.2 points, 7.6 assists, and 3.6 steals.
His NBA Journey
Ashton played college basketball at the University of Kentucky for two seasons. He averaged 11.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, 6.4 assists, and 1.9 steals per game at his last season.
Hagans ranks 12th in the Kentucky program history in assists. He then declared for the 2020 NBA draft.
After going undrafted in the 2020 NBA draft, he signed a two-way contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves in November 2020. He appeared in only two games for the Timberwolves.
