Bill was born on 14 November 1964 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is the middle child and second son of William R. Hemmer and Georganne M. Knittle. His father was an executive in a mattress manufacturing company and his mother was a high-school teacher. He has one older sister, one older brother, and two younger sisters.

Hemmer with a height of 5 feet 9 inches (1.75 meters) attended Our Lady of Victory (Cincinnati) Catholic parochial school. He graduated from Elder High School at the age of 21. Afterward, he went to Miami University from where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast journalism.

His Works Before Joining Fox News

While in the university, Bill received an offer for a position at WLWT-TV as a sports producer. Later, he joined CBS affiliate WCPO-TV as a sports anchor. In 1995 he joined CNN and worked until 2005. There, he appeared in a number of CNN programs such as American Morning, CNN Tonight, CNN Early Edition, and CNN Morning News.

Hemmer joined Fox News in 2005 and started to cover the major breaking stories. He covered the political party conventions from their respective cities during the 2008, 2012 and 2016 election seasons. As of 2020, he serves as the Chief Anchor and hosts Bill Hemmer Reports on the network.

Bill Hemmer’s Personal Life; Dating Or Married Now?

Well, the 55-year-old prefers to maintain privacy when it comes to personal life. However, he was in a relationship with a Canadian model Dara Tomanovich. They started dating in 2005 and eventually separated in 2013. Dara is represented by Boutique modeling and talent agency located in Toronto.
