Maldonado Joined CBS News New York In 2022
Maldonado used to anchor live newscasts that aired on WPSU-TV to 29 PA counties. Earlier, she interned at NBC News where she investigated consumer issues, prepared questions, and interviewed subjects for daily stories.
In 2018, she joined PBS39 outside of Philadelphia and worked as a multimedia journalist for some months. She then worked as a News Reporter and Fill-in Anchor for more than two years at FOX 61 in Hartford, Connecticut Area.
Zinnia then worked as a news reporter at CBS Boston for a year. While there, she had the opportunity to cover an array of national and breaking news stories such as the Boston Marathon, the Harmony Montgomery disappearance, and the Celtics’ journey to the NBA Finals.
In July 2022, she joined CBS News New York and currently works as a news reporter. She also performed 10-12 live hits and turned several packages for AM live news coverage from 4:30 AM-10 AM & 12 PM shows.
