Shannen Doherty, age 48, is an American actress, producer, and television director. She is best known for her roles in Little House on the Prairie (1982-1983), Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990-1994), and BH90210 (2019).

The relationship life of Shannen Doherty is no short of a roller coaster ride. She has been through both good and bad times over the years.

Her first relationship was with Dean Jay Factor. Dean is the heir of the Max Factor, a line of cosmetics from Coty, Inc. Their romantic fling started in early 1993, only to end in a bad term in a few months. Dean filed for a restraining order on 24 May 1993 after he alleged physical violence and threats on the part of Shannen. However, Shannen’s father claimed that the abuse came from Dean, not his daughter. Eventually, the pair parted ways with one another.

Following her breakup, Shannen went on to tie the wedding know with an American actor, comedian, and singer-songwriter, Ashley Hamilton. Ashley, the son of actor George Hamilton, walked down the aisle with Shannen on 11 October 1993. Unfortunately, their togetherness was short-lived as the couple filed for divorce in April 1994.

Later in 2002, Shannen married an American poker player, Rick Saloman. However, the marriage was annulled after nine months of togetherness. After that, she went on to share the wedding vows with a photographer named Kurt Iswarienko. Shannen and Kurt’s blissful bond took place in Malibu, California. Thankfully, Shannen is going strong with her latest bond.

In an interview with ABC News that aired on Good Morning America on Tuesday, 4 February 2020, Shannen Doherty opened about her breast cancer’s recurrence and how she is coping with it. The actress stated,

It’s going to come out in a matter of days or a week that — I’m stage four. So my cancer came back. I don’t think I’ve processed it. It’s a bitter pill to swallow in a lot of ways.

Furthermore, she added,

I definitely have days where I say why me. And then I go, well, why not me? Who else? Who else besides me deserves this? None of us do. But I would say that my first reaction is always concern about how — how am I going to tell my mom, my husband.

Shannen was diagnosed with breast cancer for the first time in March 2015, which had spread to her lymph nodes. Later in February 2016, she revealed that she was receiving anti-estrogen treatment to shrink the tumor and enable treatment by lumpectomy rather than mastectomy.

The surgery in May 2016 revealed that some of the cancer cells may have spread beyond the lymph nodes. As the cancer was more advanced than previously thought, Shannen had to go through chemotherapy and radiotherapy following surgery. Later on 29 April 2017, she announced that her cancer was in remission.
