Born as Quin W. Houff on 15 September 1997, he is 23 years of age. His parents Zane Houff and Kate Houff raised him in Weyers Cave, Virginia, United States. He is the only son of his parents and does not have siblings.
Quin’s father Zane is president of Houff Transfer Inc., a family-owned trucking business. Racing was in his blood, inherited from his family.
He fell in love with racing at age eight and used to drive go-karts with his father. At the age of nine, he started racing mini-cup cars. Houff attended Fort Defiance High School in Fort Defiance, Virginia.
