Upon his graduation from Harvard University, Nuseir relocated to New York City to work his way through the ranks in the tech industry. Subsequently, he landed a job as a software developer for Venmo, a mobile payment service owned by PayPal, in September 2014.

Besides as a software developer at Venmo, Nuseir also worked as a freelance iOS developer and consultant. At Venmo, his salary was in excess of $100,000 per year.

However, Nuseir soon got tired of the routine and felt like he was wasting time at his cushy desk job. With the intention to travel the world, he spent a year and a half saving up to $60,000 and decided to quit his job in 2016. Soon, he brought a camera, a plane ticket, and committed himself to travel the world full-time.

Nuseir created a Facebook page named Nas Daily, where he committed to documenting every day of his travels. He pledged to create a one-minute video every day for the next 1,000 days. He traveled the world, met interesting and informative videos, and finally completed his pledge on 5 January 2019.

Finally, Nuseir finished the 1,000 daily video journey on 5 January 2019, ending the last video with the tagline, “That’s one minute, see you soon.” Following that, he started making one video per week from 1^st February 2019 until the beginning of 2021, for a planned 100 weeks.
