Dhaliwal spent three years at ABC-affiliated KOCO-TV in Oklahoma City. There, she worked as a reporter, fill-in anchor and a storm chaser. Later, she joined the News 12 Westchester, where she worked as a morning show anchor and reporter.

In February 2018, she joined ABC7 Eyewitness News as a reporter, which was her dream job. Based in New York City, she now reports numerous stories on the network. She is likely to earn a remarkable salary from ABC7 but her salary and earnings are still under review.
