Born Megan Kayla Walker on 23 November 1998, she is 22 years of age. She is one of the two children of parents Keith Walker and Johnetta Walker.
The 6-foot-1-inch has an elder brother named Johnathan Walker. Johnathan has been working as a Senior Software Engineer at Netflix.
Megan grew up with her family in Chesterfield County, Virginia, United States. She used to play basketball at her early age with her brothers and cousins.
Moreover, she attended Monacan High School in her hometown. There she played basketball for four years.
Her Journey To WNBA
Megan committed to play college basketball at the University of Connecticut after graduating from high school. She played for the UConn Huskies for three years.
Afterward, New York Liberty selected her 9th overall in the 2020 WNBA draft. In her injury-plagued rookie season, she averaged 3.3 points and 1.5 rebounds.
Following the season, Walker was traded by the Liberty to the Phoenix Mercury in February 2021. She now plays as a forward for the Mercury, earning a base salary of $63,751.
On the international level, she was a member of the 2016 USA U18 National Team that captured the gold medal at the FIBA Americas U18 Championship.
