Martyna Kubka was born to Polish parents on 19 April 2001 in Zielona Góra, Poland. Her father is Jacek Kubka and her mother is Małgorzata Książkiewicz.
The tennis player has a sports background from her family. Both her parents were sports shooters and participated in the Olympics. Her mother Małgorzata won a bronze medal in the 50 metre rifle three positions at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona.
Likewise, her father Jacek competed in two events at the 1992 Summer Olympics. He started playing tennis as an amateur just after her birth. She was inspired by her father to play tennis and her love for tennis began at age 14.
