After high school, she went to the University of Missouri. In 2018, she graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism with a major in Convergence Television Reporting and a minor in Political Science.

Her Journalism Career

Earlier, Lydia worked as a Digital Producer, Production Assistant, and Desk Assistant for KOMU-TV in Missouri. Moreover, she had a brief stint on KBIA 91.3 FM as a Community Engagement Manager.

Nusbaum worked as a reporter, anchor, and producer at KOMU 8 News from 2017 to 2019. There she covered reports on the Missouri legislature and the mid-Missouri area.
