First things first, T.J. Dillashaw stands for Tyler Jefferey Dillashaw. The 33-years-of-age mixed martial artist was born on 7 February 1986 in Sonora, California. He comes from the family which consists of his parents, Hal Dillashaw, and Janice Dillashaw.

Tyler spent his early life in Angels Camp, California, where he joined Bret Harte High School. Standing at a decent height of 5 feet and 6.5 inches (1.69 m), he competed on the school’s wrestling team and also took part in the football team during his four years at Bret Harte.  After the graduation in 2004, Tyler enrolled at California State University and took his wrestling career further.

UFC Career, Net Worth

The two-time UFC Bantamweight Champion is making the headlines after confirming his decision to relinquish the title via an Instagram post on 20 March 2019. His decision to give away the championship came after USADA and NYASC informed him of an adverse finding from a drug test stemming from his last bout against Henry Cejudo.

Before the announcement, T.J. was holding the Bantamweight title for the second time after winning it in the first place in 2014. He went past Renan Barao’s 31-match win streak to snatch the title from him following a TKO victory in the fifth round. With the championship, T.J. created one of the biggest upsets in UFC and MMA history.

Tyler’s second championship reign came on 4 November 2017, after he won the fight against then-champion Cody Garbrandt via a knockout in the second round to retain the title.

The successful champion reportedly amasses the net worth of $1.3 Million.

Married Life With Wife And Son

T.J. Dillashaw is a married man. The UFC star tied the nuptial knot with his long-haul girlfriend, Rebecca in June 2014. Following the blissful bond, the couple flew to Mexico for their romantic honeymoon.

Three years after their wedding bliss, T.J. and his wife welcomed a baby boy named Bronson after Christmas on 28 December 2017. The arrival of Bronson added more cherries to their blooming bond. To this point, T.J. is caressing his family life with frequent holidays and adventures.
