In his early days at the University of Arkansas, he allied with the Arkansas Razorbacks football team between 2011 to 2015. Back in 2012, the NFL athlete played five games of three interceptions, one touchdown, and 21 passes for 186 yards.

A year later, he became the playing quarterback and had a shining 2013 season with3 touchdowns, 10 receptions, and 1,552 rushing yards. Within a short notice of his college, he became the NFL draft prospects in 2016. In the same following year, Jackson Jaguars acquired him in the sixth draft for a four-year contract worth $2.48 million. Not only that, but he also got a hefty bonus salary of $147,687 in the same contract. However, he could not continue his impressive run in the field and had to bid goodbye to Jaguars in September 2017.

A few months apart, Los Angeles Rams acquired him. While playing for his new club, he got injured in the 15 over victory against Seattle. He was later released by the Rams on 30 August 2019. Eventually, on 1 September 2019, Brandon was claimed off waivers by the Denver Broncos. He landed his debut for the Broncos in Week 9 match against the Cleveland Browns. Following that, Brandon switched to Cincinnati Bengals on 1 August 2020.

His $825,000-worth contract with the Cincinnati Bengals earns him an average annual salary of $825,000.
