Rannila is a Comanche tribal member. A member of the Comanche Nation, she is named after her ancestor, Weckeah. Weckeah was married to Quanah Parker, who was a war leader of the Kwahadi band of the Comanche Nation.

Jeopardy!’ has been one of my lifelong dreams. On the show, when they did my contestant interview, I mentioned Alex Trebek was one of my first words. My family watched ‘Jeopardy!’ together every night, and I just had a little bit of a whim to try out!

Previously, Rannila had managed $9,999 from her debut win on Wednesday. During her first appearance, she ended the dominating streak of then-five-day champion, Amy Hummel.
