Facing then-champion Nam Nguyen and Lianne Schaffer, Mark edged past his opponents to bag a famous win. Now, he will look to defend his victory on 24 April 2024 against a Front Desk Lead from Grand Blanc, Michigan, Paul Drake, and an ER Doctor from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Amy Hummel.

Previously, Mark appeared in the Season 16 of the U.S. version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. Making his reality show debut on 14 March 2018, Mark bagged a cash prize of $10,000.

Mark has been happily married to his wife, Laura Ingram Lashley for quite some time now. The couple celebrate their wedding anniversary on the 22nd of October every year.

Mark’s wife, Laura is a Counsel in the Education Law and Policy Practice in the Atlanta office of Parker Poe. She holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia School of Law.

As of now, Mark and Laura are co-parenting a son named Leo Lashley.
