German professional basketball player Dennis Schroder plays for NBA team Oklahoma City Thunder. He is the 2013 recipient of both BBL Most Improved Player and BBL Best German Young Player honors.

The player was born on 15 September 1993 in Braunschweig, Germany, to parents Axel and Fatou Schroder. He stands at the height of 6 feet 1 inch (1.85 m) tall and weighs around 78 kg.

His Contract Details!

Before signing and stepping foot into NBA league, Dennis previously played for SG Braunschweig and Phantoms Braunschweig in Germany. During the 2013 NBA draft, the Atlanta Hawks picked him to whom he signed a contract on 11 July 2013. Three years later, he and Hawks signed a four years contract worth $70 million on 26 October 2016. A part of his contract also included an extended option.

However, Hawks had no option but to trade him to Thunder on 25 July 2018. Dennis made his Thunder debut in the season opener on 16 October and recorded an impeccable stats of 21 points, eight rebounds, six assists, and three steals in a 108–100 loss to the Golden State Warriors.

Just five months before the couple welcomed their first and only child. Dennis took his IG handle to announced his son, Dennis Malick Schroder Jr., birth on 19 February 2019.

• Dennis scored his career-high points tally of 28 points on 7 November 2018 in a 95–86 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
• The player on 3 March 2019 recorded 17 points and a career-high 11 rebounds in a 99–95 win over the Memphis Grizzlies.
• He has been a member of the German national under-18 and German national under-20 teams.
• Dennis played in the 2012 FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship and helped the German team to fifth place. His stats were an average of 6.1 points, two assists, and 1.8 rebounds in 14.6 minutes on the court.
