The 26-years-of-age diva was born as Zozibini Tunzi on 18 September 1993 in her hometown of Tsolo, Eastern Cape, South Africa. She was born as one of four daughters of her parents, Philiswa Nadapu and Lungisa Tunzi. Zozibini later grew up in the nearby village of Sidwadweni.

About 5 feet and 10 inches (1.78 meters) tall in height, Zozibini moved to Cape Town and settled in the Gardens suburb. Eventually, she attended Cape Peninsula University of Technology and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and image management in 2018.

Career Highlight: Miss Universe Triumph!

The up-and-coming model commenced her pageantry career in 2017 when she appeared as one of the top 26 semifinalists of Miss South Africa 2017. Unfortunately, she didn’t make it into the top 12. Furthermore, she came back to compete in Miss South Africa 2019. Subsequently, she was crowned as the winner by predecessor Tamaryn Green, besting runner-up Sasha-Lee Olivier. Furthermore, she received prizes including $68,950, a brand new car, and a fully-furnished apartment in the Sandton neighborhood of Johannesburg.

Zozibini represented South Africa at the Miss Universe 2019 competition and won the title for her country. She was crowned Miss Universe by ongoing titleholder Catriona Gray of the Philippines, besting first runner-up Madison Anderson of Puerto Rico and second runner-up Sofia Aragon of Mexico.
