On July 1, 2020, Saka signed a new long-term contract with Arsenal FC under the head coach Mikel Arteta. His coach lauded him as the true representation of the values for which Arsenal Football Club stands.

Apart from his club team, he has also represented the English national team, alongside other top stars such as Fikayo Tomori, right to the senior team. Saka was called up to the England senior squad for the first time on October 1, 2020. He scored his first international goal on June 2, 2021, in a friendly match against Austria.
