Ari became an opening act for Joe Rogan in the late 2000s and began touring with Joe and fellow comics Joey Diaz, Duncan Trussell, Tom Segura, Brian Redban, and Eddie Bravo. Later on, he created, produced, and hosted the monthly live show, This Is Not Happening, with Eric Abrams. Furthermore, Ari featured in several movies and TV shows like The Fax (2004), Minding the Store (2005), InAPPropriate Comedy (2013), and Keeping Up with the Joneses (2016).

This comment caused an avalanche of repulsion from social media users. Furthermore, The New York Comedy Club canceled Ari’s planned performance after it received threats on phone. Following that, the comedian address that he had always made inappropriate jokes about deceased celebrities and that he meant no offense and nothing personal.
