Abigail Marie Hornacek was born on 25 April 1994 in Paradise Valley, Arizona that makes her 26 years of age. She is the youngest of three children of basketball coach Jeff Hornacek and Stacy Hornacek. Her father Jeff is a former NBA player and was the head coach for the NBA teams; Phoenix Suns from 2013 to 2016 and the New York Knicks from 2016 to 2018. Hornacek grew up with two brothers; Ryan Hornacek and Tyler Hornacek. Ryan is the partner lead for B2B marketing at Google. Moreover, her other brother Tyler played college volleyball at the University of Southern California.

Wiki On Eye Injury!

The journalist prior got inspiration from dad to pursue a career in athletics. She even started to play college volleyball also a strong want to take it professionally. Sadly, the wish could not get properly into execution since she got her right eye injured causing refrains that did not made her dream to be a reality.

As per wiki, the injury completely wiped out her vision. Upon completing double surgery, her right eye was properly restored but could not continue sports, so she chose journalism.

Abby pursued her early education from Xavier College Preparatory in Phoenix, Arizona. She played volleyball for the college team and won the Class 5A Division I state title in her first 3 years.

Earlier, Abby worked on Trojan Vision Television and Annenberg TV News during her student days. From 2014 to 2016, she worked as an NBA sports reporter. Moreover, as a NBA Summer League correspondent, she hosted and produced a variety of segments for the league.
