Pigato was born to Italian parents on 21 June 2003. She is the daughter of Ugo Pigato and Silvia Scotti who raised her in Bergamo, a city in northeast Milan, Italy.
The player comes from a tennis family background as her father is a former professional player and is now a tennis coach. Ugo reached the best rankings of 373 in singles and 164 in doubles and won an ATP Challenger doubles title in Geneva in 1989.
As of now, he serves as the director of the Milano Tennis Academy. Her father is her first coach and she started playing tennis at age four.
