After enjoying years on the journalism, Tamron Hall decided to get married with music executive husband in 2019. Now, she is relishing a family life being a mother of an adorable baby so far.

American journalist Tamron Hall is now the host of a self-titled syndicated talk show, Tamron Hall Show. Formerly, she served as a national news correspondent for NBC News and an anchor for MSNBC.

Tamron Hall Parents, Family

Tamron Latrise Hall was born on 16 September 1970 in Luling, Texas. She is the daughter of Mary Newton and her biological father was absent since she was a child. She regards her first dad as her grandfather, who was a sharecropper.

Later, her mother married Clarence Newton Sr., who served for 30 years in the military. She was raised by her mother and stepfather along with her stepsiblings. Meanwhile, she had an older sister named Renate who was murdered in her Houston home, following bouts of domestic violence in 2004.

The five foot nine inch Tamron attended Fort Worth’s Polytechnic High School at her hometown. She then went to Temple University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism at the age of 22.

Career; MSNBC, NBC

Tamron began her journalism career as a general assignment reporter at the CBC-affiliated KBTX in Bryan, Texas. She then worked for four years as a general assignment reporter at CBC-owned KTVT in Dallas. Afterward, in 1997, she joined the Fox-owned WFLD in Chicago. There she worked on several positions such as the general assignment reporter, consumer reporter and also hosted the three-hour “Fox News in the Morning” program. She worked for 10 years at WFLD, covering numerous breaking news stories.

In 2007, Hall joined MSNBC and NBC News, where she hosted several special reports for both the networks platform. She anchored “NewsNation,” a weekday show on MSNBC and also co-hosted the 9 a.m. hour of the “Today” show called “TODAY’S Take.” After working for 10 years left both the networks in February 2017.

Tamron started a new self-titled daytime talk show, which was premiered on 9 September 2019. She is both a host and an executive producer of a new show named Tamron Hall Show.  The show covers current event news, interviews, and human-interest stories.

Married Life; Husband, Children

Well, the 49-year-old is now relishing a married life with the producer husband. She married the music executive Steve Greener in 2019. The couple started dating after she left Today show in February 2017. Steve now serves as the Head of Music Talent at Primary Wave Entertainment.

The pair have known for each other more than four years prior to their relationship. Meanwhile, in March 2019, Tamron announced that she was expecting her first child with her husband Steve. On 25 April 2019, they welcomed a baby boy named Moses.
