Tyronn Lue is an American professional basketball coach and former player, who now serves as the top assistant coach on NFL side the Cleveland Cavaliers. He ended his NBA playing career from the Orlando Magic in 2009.

Tyronn Jamar Lue was born on 3^rd May 1977 to parents Ron Lue and Kim Miller. He grew up along with his brother Gregory Miller and sister Shakea Latoi Lue in the small town of Mexico, Missouri.

Lue attended Raytown Senior High School in neighboring Raytown, Missouri. Afterward, he went to the University of Nebraska and began to play college basketball. He stands at the height of 6 feet (1.83 meters) and his listed weight is 175 lbs (79 kg).

Tyronn began his NBA career from the Los Angeles Lakers in 1998. After playing for three seasons, he signed with another team, the Washington Wizards. He played for numerous teams such as Orlando Magic (2003-2004), Houston Rockets (2004), Atlanta Hawks (2004-2008), Dallas Mavericks (2008), and Milwaukee Bucks (2008-2009).  His playing career ended with the Orlando Magic in 2009.

After the retirement, Lue served as the Director of Basketball Development for the Boston Celtics from 2009 to 2013. Moreover, he was the coaching staff of the Los Angeles Clippers until 2014. He worked as associate head coach for the Cleveland Cavaliers from 2014 for two years. In 2016, Tyronn became the head coach of the Cavailers, where he served until 2018.
