The player was born on 9 February 1997 in Bronx, New York to parents, Alibay Barkley and Tonya Johnson. His father was a keen amateur boxer, and the player is the nephew of Iran Barkley. Saquon went to Whitehall High School in Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania where his astonishing stats were covering 3,646 yards with 63 touchdowns from his sophomore to senior year, including 1,856 yards and 31 touchdowns as a senior.

He then went to Penn State College in 2015 to play for their college football team until the 2017 season. Saquon stands at the height of 6 feet 0 inch (1.83 m) tall and weighs around 106 kg.

Career & Contract

After committing three successful seasons for his college, the 22-year-old got the fortune to be in the 2018 NFL draft. The Giants picked him as a keen interest and both the parties agreed upon a four years contract worth $31.2 million. A part of his contract also included a signing bonus of $20.76 million and $15 million of the bonus received immediately.

In his first NFL touchdown, Saquon was successive to complete a 68-yard rush. A year later in the 2019 season, after he became a successful rookie, the NFL Network on 30 July 2019, ranked him to number 16 spot on the NFL Top 100 Players of 2019.

The 22-year-old does not have a wife but is in a long committed relationship with girlfriend Anna Congdon. They are dating each other since early 2017, and his partner is the June 2016 graduate. Together, the adorable pair shares a daughter named Jada Clare Barkley, born on 24 April 2018.
