His Basketball Career; Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors selected Nico with the 48th overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft. He signed a two-way contract with the team on 27 November 2020.
On the International level, he represented Italy at the 2017 FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship. He led Italy to a ninth-place finish, averaging a tournament-high 19.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 3.0 steals per game.
Later, he made his debut for the senior Italian national team at European qualifiers for the 2019 FIBA World Cup.
