Jerami was selected with the 39th overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers on 26 June 2014. Immediately, he joined the team for the 2014 NBA Summer League. Later on 21 January 2015, Jerami recorded 4 points and 8 blocks in a loss to the New York Knicks. On 2 February the same year, he had a season-best game with 18 points and 7 rebounds.

The power forward’s stint with 76ers ended on 1 November 2016 after he was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder. In his debut, he recorded the impressive stats of 6 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 blocks in 18 minutes off the bench.

Jerami was again traded to the Denver Nuggets on 8 July 2019 for a 2020 first-round pick. Playing for Nuggets, he recorded his career-high stat of 29 points in a 115-98 win over the Detroit Pistons on 25 February 2020.
