Kraus was born to parents Gerhard Kraus and Claudia Kraus on 29 April 2002 in Vienna, Austria. Her father works in a pharmaceutical company and she grew up in various cities because of her father’s job.
Earlier, she spent her childhood in the United States and later moved to Ingelheim, Germany with her family. Afterward, she moved to her home country and joined the Austrian Army as an athlete for a year.
