Ngounoue won the girls’ Junior Orange Bowl International Tennis Championship in 2018. A year later, she finished runner-up at Orange Bowl U16 and the 2019 ITF World Junior Tennis Finals. She was ranked first in the ITF Junior Ranking (05 June 2023) and now has a rank of no. 2.


In 2021, she competed in the Wimbledon Juniors Tournament and the Roland Garros Juniors Tournament at the age of 14. She won the 2022 Australian Open girls’ doubles event with Russian partner Diana Shnaide.
