Because of his parents rocky marriage, Torres struggled with dyslexia and heroin addiction. He pursued his high schoool education at Marvelwood School in Kent, Connecticut. Afterward, he went to Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where he studied for only a year.

Happy Birthday day my little brother ❤️ Today is my birthday and my brother Tony’s.. we are exactly one year apart born on the same day. Birthdays are now bittersweet since the loss of Tony 11 years ago, which the anniversary of his passing is tomorrow. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t think about my brother and how much I miss him. There are So many more words I could say to him today if he were here. People always said how we are each other’s opposite- I am super neat and love a clean house, he was a mess. He had a friends in every city in this country, I have a handful I have in my circle. He had the biggest and funniest goofball spirit, I am way more serious, too serious sometimes;) The list can go on and on, but most of all, my brother Tony showed me how to live my life better. To be more open, to loosen up about things, to be more understanding. He had a way with people where he would become your best friend after talking for 5 minutes, he genuinely loved meeting new people and being a huge light in their lives. He was always like my genie in a bottle whenever I was going thru a tough moment in my life, he was always there for me in a flash minute the moment I called him and always always made me feel better. I was always the older brother but sometimes the things he would tell me were words beyond his time and such wisdom. Ride or Die for life. He would annoy me so much sometimes, we could get in the biggest fight, but at the end of the day I could never stay mad at him for long, ever. I miss my brother beyond anything, I know he is with me by my side in spirit, I know God is right next to you, laughing in the sky and having a ball, making a huge mess (?) but what I would give to spend our birthday with you again?♥️
