The journey to motherhood was not easy for journalist Sara Walsh and her former MLB player husband. The duo is now relishing their married life and raising their two kids and also managing their respective careers so far.

Sara Walsh is an award-winning sportscaster American, known for her work on ESPN and FOX Sports. She now appears as an NFL sideline reporter alongside play-by-play announcer Dick Stockton and Brady Quinn.

The journalist of age 42 was born as Sara Elizabeth Walsh on 12 April 1978. Regarding her parents, she is the daughter of John Walsh and Wendy Walsh.

Her father John is a retired school teacher. She grew up with her family in the Tampa Bay area in Florida.

Coming towards her education, Sara attended Gulf High School in New Port Richey, Florida. After graduating in 1996, she went to the University of North Florida. There, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in communications, graduating in 1999.

Her Career; ESPN, Fox Sports

Earlier, Sara was a sportswriter for the Beaches Leader newspaper in Jacksonville, Florida. She began her broadcasting career as a sports director at a MeTV-affiliated WPGA-TV in Macon, Georgia.

Walsh served as a sports reporter for ABC-affiliated WKRN-TV in Nashville. There, she appeared as a co-host of Monday Night Live alongside Coach Jeff Fisher.

Sara was the weekend sports anchor at CBS affiliate WUSA-TV in Washington, D.C. Likewise, she also served as its Washington Redskins reporter.

In 2010, she joined ESPN and started hosting SportsCenter on the network. Besides, she hosted NFL Live, Fantasy Football Now, NFL Insiders, and various NFL draft specials until 2017.

In 2018, she joined Fox Sports and started working as a reporter for the 2018-19 NFL season. She now serves as an NFL sideline reporter also serves as a studio host for their NASCAR coverage.

Married Life; Husband, Baby

Sara is a married lady, who has been keeping the wedding vows over the years. She married her longtime boyfriend Matt Buschmann on 17 January 2014. The wedding ceremony was held in Sarasota, Florida.

Her husband Matt is a former professional baseball pitcher, who played for the MLB team, Arizona Diamondbacks. He is the bullpen coach for the MLB side Toronto Blue Jays.

Sara and Matt are the parents of two kids. They welcomed;  a daughter named Brees and a son named Hutton on 13th February 2017. However, her motherhood journey was not easy. She suffered multiple miscarriages and they welcomed their children through IVF procedure.
