Collegiately, he played at the University of Florida for four seasons. As a senior, he helped the Florida Gators to the fifth NCAA Division I Championship win in their history in 2023. He was also a three-time All-American, four-time All-SEC, and four-time PING All-Region.
Ricky turned professional in 2023 and won his first Korn Ferry Tour title as a rookie after earning the Wichita Open title. In 2024, he earned the PGA Tour card after finishing 26th in the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour Championship points list.
