The player comes from an athletic family background. His father Pedro Sr. is a former hockey player who played for the Portuguese hockey team Vianense.
Neto is of Mozambican descent from his mother’s side. His maternal uncle Sérgio Lomba is a retired Mozambican footballer who played as a defender.
