Doak was born to his parents Graham Gannon and Deann Doak on 11 November 2005. His full name is Ben Gannon Doak.
The young player was raised by his mother Deann who is a stylist and color technician. Moreover, his father Graham is a self-employed professional joiner. He is a graduate of St Michael’s Academy in Kilwinning.
Ben’s grandfather Martin Doak was also a footballer who played more than 300 games for Greenock Morton Football Club. He was born on 11 May 1964 in Greenock, Renfrewshire, Scotland
An eldest in the family, he is accompanied by a brother and a sister. He grew up with his siblings in Dalry, North Ayrshire, Scotland.
His Career Journey
Initially, Ben played youth football at his hometown club Dalry Rovers and later played at Ayr United. He joined Celtic’s academy in 2021 and was part of the St Ninian’s school program.
On 29 January 2022, he made his Celtic debut in a Scottish Premiership game against Dundee United. After two months, he signed with Liverpool and Celtic received training compensation of around £600,000.
Doak made his first team debut for Liverpool against Derby County in the third round of the 2022–23 EFL Cup on 9 November 2022. Moreover, he has played for Scotland’s U16, U17, and U21 teams.
