Nick was raised by his parents John Hardy and Kim Hardy in Northbrook, Illinois, United States. He was born on 26 January 1996.
The 27-year-old regards his father as the biggest influence on his career. His father John served as his caddie for his final two holes at the 2016 US Open.
Nick is the only son in the family of four children. He has three sisters Megan Hardy, Kristen Hardy, and Shannon Hardy. Megan was previously ranked 19th in the world on the mobile game subway surfer as per her Instagram.
His Golf Career
Hardy began playing golf tournaments when he was 9 years old. Moreover, he played golf while attending Glenbrook North High School in Northbrook, Illinois. As a junior, he was ranked the no. 2 amateur golfer in Illinois by the AJGA.
Likewise, he was a runner-up in the 2013 Illinois State Junior Amateur Championship. After high school, he attended the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign where he played collegiate golf from 2014 to 2017.
After turning professional in 2018, Nick has played in the U.S. Open and in the John Deere Classic. His first career top-five on the PGA TOUR was at the Sanderson Farms Championship in 2022. In the year 2023, he participated in two PGA Tour events; Sony Open in Hawaii and Farmers Insurance Open.
