The Conjuring Consultant Lorraine Warren Dies At Age 92!

One of the prominent American paranormal investigators Lorraine Warren gave her life for the research of ghost hunting. She and her husband Edward Warren Miney traveled over a large area investigating paranormal and occult phenomena, and authored several books.

Lorraine Warren, a film consultant for the ‘The Conjuring’ movies has died at age 92!

Warren’s son-in-law, Tony Spera stated on his Facebook that she died “peacefully” in her sleep on 18 April 2019. Moreover, The New England Society for Psychic Research, founded by Lorraine and her husband Ed Warren in 1952 the news on its Facebook page.

Most of the viewers know Lorraine from The Conjuring, a 2013 horror movie based on some fairly damning information about her husband Ed, who died in 2006. She was a consultant on the movie and also briefly appeared in it. The movie featured Annabelle doll and the real Annabelle doll is kept in The Warrens Occult Museum

Vera Farmiga portrayed the role of her in the movie. She even made a tweet to express her sorrow stating Lorraine “touched her life.”

Similarly, her family members and admirers took their social media to mourn her.

Lorraine met future husband Ed when they were in their mid-teens. They exchanged the wedding vows on 22 May 1945. They are parents of an only child; a daughter Judy Warren. Her husband, Ed died from a heart attack on 23 August 2006.

Who Is Lorraine Warren?

Warren was born as Lorraine Rita Moran on 31st January 1927 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She pursued her primary education from Lauralton Hall, a prestigious Catholic girls’ high school in Milford, Connecticut.

Lorraine and her husband founded NESPR, the oldest ghost hunting group in New England in 1952. They authored numerous books regarding Paranormal activities and investigated more than 10,000 cases.

Their notable investigations include Annabelle, Perron family, Amityville, Demons, and more. Besides, they trained several demonologists that includes Dave Considine and their nephew John Zaffis.
