Why Is Melanie Hirsch Appearing On Jeopardy Again?
Although Hirsch could not emerge as a champion on her first Jeopardy appearance, she is appearing on Jeopardy again this season. She will be the new contestant for the 2025 Second Chance Tournament.
Well, Jeopardy is currently in the second week of the tournament. She will be competing in the semifinal round of the three groups in this tournament.
Moreover, the winner of each of those three groups will advance to the Champions Wildcard Tournament, which begins airing on 5 January 2026.
Melanie will challenge two contestants, and one will be Aaron Himmel, a stay-at-home dad from Long Island, New York. Similarly, the other contestant will be Andrew Wang, a medical student from Winnetka, Illinois.
