From 2015 to 2017, she worked as a multimedia journalist for KNDU-TV, an NBC affiliate in Eastern Washington. There, she was a weekend evening producer and anchor for the 6:00 and 11:00 newscasts and also worked as a fill-in weather person.
Likewise, Maynard was a reporter for NBC News for two years until 2019. She was a News Reporter and Weather Anchor for KGTV Channel 10, an ABC-affiliate station in San Diego, California. In November 2019, she joined News 8 WNTH, an ABC-affiliate station in New Haven, Connecticut. As of now, she works as a reporter for the network.
