After dating for some time, Carissa walked down the aisle together with her husband, Shanon Culiner on 3 June 2016. It was about 1.5 years after Shanon proposed Carissa on 26 December 2014. The couple got engaged at Nobu, a famous sushi restaurant on the iconic beachside community of Malibu.

The pair got married in a lavish wedding ceremony held in Islamorada, Florida. The wedding was officiated by Shanon’s stepfather, Michael Josephs. The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Chase Culiner on 9 December 2017.
