(From Dallas) Mom always said to write thank you notes. So…here goes. I want every single one of you that wrote to me about mom's passing to know how much I appreciate your words, thoughts, feelings, hugs, caring and love. Funny how she was intimidated by social media, smartphones and iPads, but she loved it when I'd tell her all of the amazing comments many of you would make in response to pictures and posts of my trips to visit her in Dallas over the years. If I could only tell her all of the wonderful things you've said over the past few days. Tomorrow morning at 10am my mom will be laid to rest next to my dad who passed away 24 years ago. It's an understatement to say my heart is heavy. But, it has been lifted by all of the wonderful words you've shared. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
