Kaye, with a height of ‎5 feet 10 inches (1.78 meters), attended Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts. There, she graduated cum laude with a degree in broadcast journalism at the age of 22. While an undergraduated there, Randi joined the sorority Alpha Epsilon Phi.

The 51-year-old is currently married to mortgage broker husband Ross Holland. The couple has been keeping their wedding vows for nearly two decades. The couple exchanged the wedding vows on 19 October 2003. Recently, they celebrated their 17 wedding anniversary in October 2020.
