Leif was born in 1979 to American parents and celebrates his birthday on 20 August every year. He grew up with his family in Berkeley, California.

Standing at the height of 5 feet 11 (1.8 meters), Coorlim attended Gladstone High School. He then went to the University of Portland and earned a bachelor’s in Communication Studies at the age of 22.

Leif began his career as a writer at the CBS-affiliated KOIN-TV in Portland, Oregon in 1998. He then worked as Producer on a Fox-affiliated KPTV from 2000 to 2003. Later, he moved to WGTV in Washington and became a producer for Fox Television News until 2008.

Coorlim joined CNN International in 2008 and took the responsibility as a senior producer until 2012. He now serves as an executive editor in The CNN Freedom Project. Divorced From Journalist Wife

The 39-years-old was married to British journalist Isha Sesay. They exchanged the wedding vows on 18 August 2013. The ceremony was held at Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead, Atlanta, Georgia. Isha now serves as an anchor and correspondent for CNN International.

However, the couple is no longer together now. In an article published on Whatweseee.com in August 2018, Isha revealed that she got divorced from Leif. But their divorce date is still inside the dark shadow.
