Career With 6ABC, ABC

Kenneth Moton developed immense interest in journalism since his study days. While his time at the University, Kenneth was one of three Carolina Marching Band drum majors. Additionally, he was also associated with Kappa Kappa Psi, a national honorary fraternity for college band members. 

Following formal media training, Kenneth started his broadcast journalism career in Columbia. He served as an assignment editor and reporter for the CBS-affiliate, WLTX-TV.  Following that, Moton worked as a video editor for WIS-TV.

Moton’s media career found a new gear when he served as a general assignment reporter at WFTV in Orlando, Florida.  After working for four years in Florida, Moton moved to Philadelphia and joined the 6ABC network in 2011.

Kenneth commenced his career at 6ABC as a reporter on Action News. His continuous determination and dedication made him one of the sought-after reporters in the history of the network.

After working at 6ABC for four years, Kenneth moved to ABC News in Washington, D.C. in 2015.  As of now, he serves as a news correspondent on ABC NewsOne. Kenneth has achieved tremendous applause covering a handful amount of big news.

The TV personality feels blessed to be surrounded around his partner with their selfless and unconditional love for one another.
