Her Career Journey To BBC

Louise started her career as a researcher at Children’s BBC. Afterward, she became a sports presenter for an independent radio production company. There, she covered numerous events including Wimbledon and the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer.

In 1992, she joined Central Television and worked as a weather presenter. Later, she spent two years at LBC in London. Meanwhile, in 1996, she joined the UK Weather Channel at its launch on cable and satellite. Lear joined the BBC Weather Centre in April 1998. Since then, she has presented numerous BBC programs, including Trading Up on BBC One.

Additionally, she appeared as a presenter on the weather forecast on the BBC One program Countryfile. As of now, she works as a presenter for BBC Weather and was previously a weekend presenter on BBC Breakfast.

Louise is a married woman, who has been carrying out both her professional and personal life. She is now relishing a married life with her husband Ian Lear. However, she has not revealed the wedding details.

Her husband Ian is an architect by profession. He now serves as the Director at Riversheds Ltd in St Albans, United Kingdom. The couple is the parents of two boys; James & Miles Lear. The family of four now resides in 1950’s bungalow in the Hertfordshire town of Hatfield.
