About 5 feet 6 inches (1.68 meters) in height, Sarah’s middle name comes from her grandmother, Dorothy de Bauduy Robertson. Dorothy was killed in a road accident in 1979.

Speaking about her education, Sarah attended Cranbrook School, Kent, a co-educational state grammar school. Likewise, she took her GCSEs at Robertsbridge Community College. Following her University degree, Sarah worked for two winter seasons in the Alps, where she developed her love for winter sports. However, her first appointment in her chosen field was at the Met Office in 2007.
Sarah received proper training in weather forecasting at the Met Office College and moved to be the weather forecaster in the Met Office headquarters in Exeter. A year later in 2008, Sarah joined BBC as a broadcast assistant.
For over 12 years, Sarah is serving as a weather presenter on BBC One. In fact, she has done the five-day weather forecast on the BBC One series, Countryfile. Her media salary is expected to swirl around $90k per year.
