The player was born as Marcus Earl Stroman on 1 May 1991 in Medford, New York to parents, Earl Stroman and Adlin Auffant. His dad and mom parted ways when he was in the fifth grade. Besides them, he has a brother, Jayden, and a sister named Sabria. Marcus went to Patchogue-Medford High School in Medford and then attended Duke University. He has a career record of 15–13 in 48 appearances in Duke from where he got his bachelor’s degree in sociology on 15 May 2016.

Marcus stands at a height of 5 feet 8 inches (1.67 m) and weighs around 82 kg.

Career & Stats

The 28-years-old professional career started when the Toronto Blue Jays picked him in the 2014 MLB draft. After three seasons with the team, he got the $3.4 million in the 2017 season after winning the arbitration case on 14 February 2017.

Likewise, the next year, Marcus took his Twitter to handle to make an announcement of losing his arbitration case on 15 February 2018. He would have got a salary of $6.9 million but had to settle for $6.5 million. However, after playing four incredible seasons, the Jays had no option but to trade him to Mets on 28 July 2019.
