Recently, the Pima County Medical Examiner’s Office announced the real cause of Luke’s death. He went missing on 20 August 2022 in Tucson, Arizona. Luke suddenly disappeared while his friend and fellow musician Matt Kinman went out to eat.

Nine days later on 29 August 2022, Luke was found dead in Tucson. He had bipolar disorder and had recently changed medication for treatment before his death.
A few days later, the musician’s family released an official statement claiming that his bipolar disorder was the reason for his death. However, they didn’t reveal the specific cause of his death.
Finally, on 18 September 2022, the world got to know the real cause of Luke’s death. As per the reports, he died from fentanyl intoxication on 26 August 2022. Fentanyl is a pain medication specially used for anesthesia.
Luke was 32 at the time of his death.
