Standing at a decent height of 5 feet and 8 inches (1.72m), Molly completed the first part of her education with graduation from Tucker County High School, Hambleton, West Virginia in 1995. From there, she proceeded to Virginia Tech College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication and Political Science in 1999.

With the thirst for media exposure, Molly grasped big opportunity starting as a photographer/reporter at WDTV in Bridgeport, West Virginia in 1999. After a year, she got tucked as a reporter for WXXA (Channel 23) in Albany, New York, where she served till 2002.

Eventually, the aspiring reporter joined WFXT (Channel 25) in Boston as an anchor in December 2002 and gave her service till late 2005. There, she covered the major story involving the sentencing of shoe bomber Richard Reid and also the West Warwick nightclub fire which killed 100 people.

Since being affiliated with the Fox News Channel in January 2006, Molly has covered prominent stories including the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut and also the arrest and extradition of Neil Entwistle– the British man who murdered his own wife and baby in 2006. Besides, she was behind the coverage of the Cartoon Network ‘Aqua Teen Hunger Force’ scandal.
