After working at KVLY-TV for months, she joined KIDK station in Idaho Falls, Idaho, in 2003. There, she forecasted, produced, and anchored weather segments and also co-anchored morning and noon newscasts.
From 2005 to 2007, she served as a Chief Meteorologist at KBOI-TV in Boise, Idaho. She then joined CBS-affiliated WBTV and worked there until 2014.
During her tenure, she appeared in the noon weather broadcasts and served as the weekend evening meteorologist.
Likewise, she served as a meteorologist and content creator at a CBS-affiliated KIRO-TV from 2014 to 2017. Afterward, she joined the KOAT Action 7 News team in April 2019. As of now, she covers weekday’s weather forecast on the network.
Her Battle With Brain Tumour
On the first of April 2010, the doctor told Kelly that she has a brain tumor. Moreover, her tumor was named meningioma, a tumor that forms membranes that cover the brain and spinal cord just inside the skull.
She underwent surgery in Durham, and the tumor was successfully removed. After few weeks of rest, she recovered and returned to her regular work.

The 42-year-old seems to be private when it comes to her personal life. She prefers to keep her relationship status away from the media.
