Her career at Canadian Space Agency began in 2017 and soon went training as an astronaut during the fourth Canadian astronaut recruitment campaign. So, upon relocating to Houston, Texas in July 2017, she did a two-year NASA Astronaut Candidate Training Program at the Johnson Space Center.
